You can now subscribe to topics and be notified when a thread or "node" gets updated with new replies. All users will be autosubscribed to any topics that they reply to. If you don't like this default behavior, you can change it by editing your settings in My Account.

If you want to edit the topics you are "subscribed" to, hit "my subscriptions" in the left navigation menu.
