I'm Becca. Always as a kid I grew up in just about every place except a church. I was a kid in a plain jane family just like many other people, I just didn't go to church. God never appealed to me. And now that I have grown to be older and more mature, the thought of a character having power over me is not too thrilling. Some people strive for a relationship with God and sure, that's cool, doesn't effect me. I just have always chose to live my life in a different light. Instead of living for God, I live for others and myself. I sometimes think that christians miss out on a lot of life because they spend so much of it asking for forgiveness for their sins and trying to please this imaginary man. I think that living your life with no higher power is a better choice and it does not bother me whether or not people choose to live their lives like mine. I am a very kind, open-hearted, and understanding person open to friendships with any type of person. Some of my best friends in the world are 110% christian and I have never discouraged them for that because they are always open to the fact that I am an atheist. I love my life and I love living it for what actually is going on now, not for a silly book written by who knows who and who knows when. I'm glad this site found me and can't wait to get to know people. :)
