UFC ROCKS!!!
I love the pure freedom that the fighters are allowed.
It is the way professional fighting should be done.
With the only rule being, "THERE ARE NO RULES!"
Man, I just love fighting! I've competed in boxing and mma for a long time!
I've done boxing (and bareknuckle boxing), Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kung fu and Wing Chun.
Who are your favorite fighters?
Here are some of my favorite mma fighters:
1.) Fedor Emelianenko
2.) BJ Penn
3.) Georges St.Pierre
4.) Matt Hughes
5.) Royce Gracie
6.) Chuck Liddell
And here are some of my favorite boxers:
1.) Oscar De La Hoya
2.) Muhammad Ali
3.) Mike Tyson
4.) Roy Jones, Jr.
5.) Jorge Arce
6.) Antonio Margarito
7.) Marco Antonio Barrera
8.) Vitali Klitschko
This really should be called MMA or Boxing b/c UFC isn't the best organization for MMA, most popular but not the best.
I would say the best fighters in the world are all in MMA.
1. Fedor Emelianenko
2. Wanderlei Silva
3. BJ Penn
4. Takanori Gomi
5. Norifumi Yamamoto
I was going to call this thread UFC/ HBO Boxing.
I got too mad after De la Hoya was cheated out of Mayweather Jr.
I'm done with boxing completely.

LOL
the UFC has too many rules, if you like less restricted rules watch when PRIDE FC hosted their events in Japan and watch K-1 Heroes.

Mike/American Atheist thought De La Hoya was gonna win, too. :D

I thought De La Hoya did enough to win or deserve a draw.
If you take away Floyd Mayweather's jab and shoulder roll, you have him running away like a little girl through the whole fight!
Exactly it was like the Boxing version of Cro Cop V Fedor, I don't see how mastering the art of walking backwards and these little jabs win fights.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. best boxer of all time my ass. If he came up 15 years ago then he would be defeated, boxing's talent pool is too shallow nowadays.
Rocky Marciano is the only true undefeated boxer to me.
