Hey, i just joined the site, i have been a member of RRS forawhile. Anyway I am doing an informative speech in a few weeks on Misconceptions between our government and Religion - and the effects of it. Its informative so i need facts.

so help me brainstorm kids - I looking for things like
the demographic Sapient gave commenting on the CNN panel:
75-80% are theists in the country
99% of people in Jail are theists

other things to give you a general idea:
In god we trust wasnt added until the 50s
ditto with one nation under god

Im looking for disquieting facts like these that the average person either doesnt know / or refuses to accept. I am gonna wrap it all up in a speech and see how well it does
