Out of line or not??
Offline On my myspace I changed my profile picture to one with the RRS badge by my picture, and in like 2 minutes I'm already getting bitched at by one of my "freinds". Here's the whole thing so far.

It just pissed me off that she said I was the one with a crisis.
Tell your friend that you think she's in a crisis because she has an imaginary friend.
No 1, Weird... I wouldnet have known what a RRS badge was before I joined this forum... (I just hadent seen one... or heard of the RRS..)
No 2, I think that she was ot of line. I dont know your relationship online (if your best friends or if you know each other in real life). She seemed to just assume that you were in the wrong. She attacked you because you put a picture up... and it wasent a violent or angry picture... just a badge.
However, she might have been joking a little, it diddnt seem like it... but crisis is a pretty strong word to describe a change in thinking.
She wasn't joking. She's supossedly a devout catholic, which is stupid, because she bi, so it seems pretty illogical that she would belong to such a homophobic religion.
Religion never makes sense. If people are catholic, then they are proably sinning because they use birth control (is that a sin or just a nice guideline?)
If anyone really lived Judiasm (like it says so in their scriptures) then they would be in prison or on the run.
Ok, well then I think you should just stop taling to her.. she is obviously too irrational to understand that being Bi is jsut as bad as being atheist (and neither are bad).

using birth control is a sin to them. along with a bunch of other meaningless crap.
Yeah, I know that the pope said it was bad and he is infallable. However, a catholic kid (at my school - the only one i know) said that it was not a sin.. more like a guideline (i know that he is in denial now...)
most catholics seem to think, at least where I live, most of the crap their taught is more of a guideline then anything else.

and Honestly, I think that if everyone stopped killing... the world would be a much much better place... we could have the police and others working for the beniit of the world... not just trying to keep order

The first link I posted is about 2 crazy religious people that wanted to die because they thought they could come back to life a few days later.

Some religious couple...they were talking about the book of Revelations and that they were talking about God, and they claimed they could come back from the dead.
Those fundies jacked some bus, held the people hostage, and would let them go if the police killed them (the fundies, not the hostages).
The police shoot them, but don't kill them. So the wife gets a gun and kills her husband and herself.
They don't come back from the dead.

You already noticed how the Devouts are. I [i]had[/i] a catholic friend, she never knew I was an atheist. We were friends for 3 years. Then during a conversation with on of my friends she over heard me and since then she always started agruments with me then ended with "You dont believe in God!". She was kinda like a child, so one day I came to her told her my disbelief in her god and never talked to her again, that was 4 months ago. She still tells people we are friends.
I still have my theist friends.... they call me the antichrist (but they are joking..) and most of them have mellowed out since I first knew them (they still believe... but are more tolerant).
I just had this guy I have been friends with for years tell me I was going to hell. I tried to mello him out, saying things like, I get that a lot and I will keep that in mind if I need directions in the afterlife.
I assume that it did not work.
I would assume the same thing; I was only IMing with him, so I don't know how he took it.
