Video doesn't work for me. But I Googled the title and came across some articles. It's pretty interesting - in fact I wrote an article for my journalism class over the death penalty a couple weeks ago.
Wish I'd known about those execution buses then.
Bump.
I want more opinions about this.
Well, I am against the death penalty on several grounds - It is not practicle (it costs more now) It is unnessiary, but most of all, if society has a death penalty and one innocent person is killed then everyone who supports the death penalty is somewhat at fault
I support the death penalty in murder cases (especially serial murderers) and if the evidence used to convict the criminal is strong. Plus it scares off people from killing in the first place.
Being proved innocent of murder is real hard in China, according to the video.
900th post!
Congrats!
Being proven innocent would be hard in all cases due to the burden of proof - the only (if not, the easiest) way a convicted person could be proven innocent is if someone else is found guilty.
