I had forgotten about this video, but then I found it today. So this is what they show children in Christian camps? That's like.. insane! I mean, going to church is quite a huge punishment for them already, but this is like forcing them to watch saw 3!

God bless atheism!
Submitted by Krista on Wed, 2008-10-29 11:07.I was sitting in a coffee-bar the other day, when old lady came by and started talking to me about how turning into a religious person changed her entire life and how she regrets her life before (resp. - her life with out god) I wasn't really listening to her, so all I heard was something like this: "blah, blah, god, blah, blah, Jesus, blah..." Then she gave me some kind of brochures and invited me to go to a sermon of one Brazilian preacher who had been baptized by the Holy Ghost himself. I guess it's something "wow!" in christian world. But that's not the point.
We all have to Wonder
Submitted by Dano on Fri, 2008-01-25 16:25.We all have to wonder, if Jesus so loved the world then why didn’t he demonstrate calculus and the periodic table? Had he of done so we would have gone to the moon and beyond centuries ago. Cancer as well as many other illnesses would now be a thing of the past. Through the ages, think of all the children that died in their mother’s arms from an infection by a minor cut. Who was this man Jesus? Did he really exist? Does it matter?
We also have to wonder, when someone demands that you follow him and believe in him yet never shows himself, well, you got yourself a con-artist.
Our spiritual thirst is evolutionary derived. But what is it for? Well, for one thing it is to promote social order. Since spirituality is innately inborn in us, it’s probably a good thing to go along with it. However, there are healthier ways to go about it. As we’ve seen with many religions throughout the world, they break the human spirit and demean the human enterprise i.e. extreme right wing radicals.
lol at this shit
Submitted by Jesus Loves You on Thu, 2007-12-27 23:47.Do you whiny little teenagers who are mad because your parents don't give you everything you want or you get beat up at school honestly think that your petty and redundant arguments are making a point? Because guess what, NOBODY GIVES A FUCK. Maybe you should stop whining and go get an education. Read a book, it does the mind good. Maybe, you should read the Bible or the Koran or anything else, just read something. This is why I hate teenagers, you're all fucking dumbasses.
And also, CHRISTIANITY ISN'T THE ONLY FUCKING RELIGION

Ranting about stuff.
Submitted by Noor on Thu, 2007-12-27 18:32.Why the fuck are certain, arbitrarily-delimited words considered bad? It's absolute bullshit to say that a certain combination of sounds is "bad" or evil or anything like that. If I say "shot" it's considered absolutely okay, but change one fucking letter/sound and some people will gasp in shock. A certain person hasn't talked to me for three fucking weeks as soon as I used the word fuck in my display name/message. That too, it was clearly in order to add emphasis and not meant as an insult. I didn't even cuss while talking to her. I rarely ever do while talking orally since the trouble I'll get into just isn't worth it, but sometimes the word fuck can be useful in adding needed emphasis to a sentence or statement.
The End
Submitted by macky4nerdo on Sun, 2007-09-16 10:26.When the world ends,
When it comes to a halt.
Who will be there,
To sort it all out?
.
The tides are turning.
We're losing sight,
Of what is around us,
What isn't alright.
.
Predators roaming,
Swift as night.
Searching for prey,
With all their might.
.
We forget who's out there,
Unable to comprehend,
What life would be like,
If it came to an end.

Another World
Submitted by macky4nerdo on Sun, 2007-09-16 10:22.In another world,
Up is down and left is right.
In another world,
What is wrong is right.
.
To get the chance
To see what life holds
In another dimension,
To leave a world so cold.
.
Most would do it.
Most would accept.
To try something new,
This one single chance.
.
But we'd lose sight of ourselves,
Of our life and our being.
We'd forget what we love,
What we hate and our feelings.
.
We'd gave it all up,
For a chance to explore
A world so different
We'd fall for the lure.
Passing Time
Submitted by macky4nerdo on Sun, 2007-09-16 10:18.Passing Time
60, 59, 58, 57,
The clock ticks by,
52, 51, 50, 49,
Stealing each moment,
45, 44, 43, 42,
Reminisces only remain,
38, 37, 36, 35,
We wish for it to stop,
28, 27, 26, 25,
So we can fix mistakes,
19, 18, 17, 16,
We have tried to be patient,
9, 8, 7, 6,
But we're left with nothing.
